Project Review

In order to make any initiative work, the general public needs to be educated about the urgency of the situation and what they can do to help. That is why the education project is vital to the conservation of coral reef ecosystems throughout the world. As an educator, you would inform not only school children and the local community, but also visiting tourists, about the importance of coral reefs to our oceans. In Madagascar you will not only be able to take part in scientific research and conservation, but also you will be able to have an impact on the local community where your project will be based. As a Volunteer Research Assistant and Intern you will be able to not only educate others about what you’ve learned, but you will see the coral reefs that you are helping to preserve via scuba diving on information gathering expeditions. You will also be able to carry out a structured research project with the guidance of our partner organizations knowledgeable staff. Please bring all required documentation from your university in order to receive credit for your internship.
