Responsibilities:

• End user browser/network troubleshooting
• Support of all ESS products (become a super user of ESS software for both ESS staff and customer issues)
• Total ownership of support calls between the customer and the business
• Provide training to new and existing customers as well as producing training materials
• Some business travel will be required
• Occasional Q/A testing

Requirements:

• Ability to pick things up quickly – ESS deals with a vast customer base within the shipping world with varying working practices
• Excellent communication skills required to be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers at various levels while dealing with support calls, e-mails and training issues (on-site training or remote).
• Interest in improving/developing client support procedures – the intern will be in a position to influence and improve the best practices and standards used for client support 
• Ability to work on own as well as part of a team 
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Experience with web-based applications, network and browser troubleshooting, as well as knowledge of the shipping industry are helpful but not required
