Beijing, a fascinating combination of the ancient and modern world, is the ideal location to learn Chinese. You’ll get the best of both worlds at our Chinese school in Beijing, which lies right in the heart of the gardens of Beijing’s famous Forbidden City. Whilst the Imperial Gardens surrounding the school are quiet and peaceful, the Wangfujing, Beijing’s principal shopping street is just a few minutes’ walk away. Our schools offers an optional activities program to help you get the most from your Chinese course in Beijing. With the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall of China all close by, you’ll find plenty to see and do. School is located in one of the most typically Chinese parts of the city. If you choose to learn Chinese in our school, you’ll have access to 7 well-equipped classrooms overlooking the beautiful Imperial Gardens. There is a convenient cafe/restaurant in the school building, and Internet access for a small charge. If you enjoy art, try our Chinese Painting Course, which takes place in the school. If you’re more sports orientated, try Tai Chi, an easy to-learn-sport. Our Tai Chi Course takes place in the Imperial Gardens and a local sports club. This particular course comprises 20 or 22 lessons per week and is our most popular Chinese language course. It is intensive enough to ensure good progress, and leaves you plenty of free time to explore.

Accommodation and Food: Our Beijing School offers two accommodation options. Stay in classic Chinese style at our Guest House in the Xidan quarter, just 10 minutes by metro from the school. Once owned by a member of the Emperor’s court, our Guest House is in classic Chinese architectural style. Choose from a single or double room with half board (2 meals/day) or self-catering.
