General Chinese courses cover the core elements of Chinese language through demonstration and interaction. Classes are held in the morning with four sessions per day and twenty sessions per week. Each session lasts fifty minutes and each class is capped at eight students. At the completion of each course, students take an exam to evaluate their progress and determine whether they are ready to move on to the next level.

• Focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing
• Role-play, conversation and presentation exercises in each class
