You may have the opportunity to be teaching Skills Development Program (SDP) which is to be conducted among top public schools in Beijing, varying between 3-5 days per week in each school. The program is focusing more on skills rather than hard knowledge and is estimated to last for one academic year, depending on the specific arrangement of each school. SDP is designed specifically with the needs of todays ambitious students in mind and offers a 120 hour course intended to act as a bridge between the students normal school programme and higher education in countries such as the USA, the UK and others.

Skills or Qualifications:

• Native English speaker. Preferably with a western background or long-term experience.
• A Bachelors or a Masters degree from an accredited college or university.
• Good command of critical thinking, enterprise skills (teamwork and leadership) and communication skills.
• Flexibility, cooperation and coordination with CHEER and its partnering schools.
• High school teaching experience will give you an edge!
• Passion for teaching (high school) students.
