Volunteer Abroad in Germany

Having thoroughly moved away from its warmongering ways of much of the 1900s, Germany again is a proud member of the global community, an economic dynamo and a place where tourists will find much to enjoy, from fairytale castles to lush forests and ever-popular Oktoberfest. Europe's most populous nation was reunified in 1990 after a decades-long separation, and still bears the scars. Most physical traces of the Berlin Wall have been eradicated and the capital of a reunited Berlin is a hip place of shopping and enjoying such sights as the Brandenburg Gate.

Volunteering in Germany is an excellent way to serve the country. It presents opportunities to explore this great country and thoroughly experience its culture in a different way. Volunteer opportunities in Germany includes: working in an orphanage, teaching English, working in healthcare projects, and supporting many local non-profit organizations.
