Volunteer Abroad in Iceland

Hauntingly beautiful Iceland, known as the land of ice and fire, is home to dramatic topography marked by bubbling geysers, stinky sulfur vents, deep valleys and fields of lava. Water-wise, there are many bays and fjords, rivers and waterfalls. As if that wasn't enough, Iceland has more active volcanoes than almost any other country. Reykjavik, the capital, which more than half of the island country's population calls home, is home to both beautiful old wooden buildings and a slew of nightclubs and bars.
