Volunteer Abroad in Afghanistan

Strategically located in the heart of Asia, Afghanistan boasts pristine scenery and high mountains. It's a landlocked country that has seen years of civil war and terrorism. Recently, with the support from NATO, Afghanistan has seen some stability. But the countryside still remains tense. Among Afghanistan's many attractions are the scenic views of Band-i-Amir Lake and ancient cities left behind in the wake of Alexander the Great.

Volunteering in Afghanistan is an excellent way to serve the country. It presents opportunities to explore this great country and thoroughly experience its culture in a different way. Volunteer opportunities in Afghanistan includes: working in an orphanage, teaching English, working in healthcare projects, and supporting many local non-profit organizations.
