Project Review

Currently a number of schools in Ghana are searching for volunteers to assist them with Public Health education. Volunteers with an interest in Public Health education will find this placement opportunity very satisfying. Successful volunteers will have the chance to develop, deliver and evaluate lesson plans on the topics of HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis. These lesson plans will be directed towards school-aged children attending Primary School and Junior High School. An emphasis will be placed on activity based group learning and creative learning techniques are welcome. This placement can operate in either a rural or urban setting, depending on the volunteer’s preference.
