Samburu Game Reserve is one of the famous volunteer destination in Africa. In this reserve one can be in close contact with nature and also can observe the culture and traditions of the indiginous African people. Samburu National parkis famous for some distinctive species like the reticulated giraffe and Grevy zebra.
This Reserve lies within the lands of the colourful Samburu people, who are close relatives of the Maasai. Theis reserve includes Grevy zebra, the reticulated giraffe and the Beisa oryx only found in north of the equator, as well as elusive Leopards, Lion and other antelopes.

We ask our volunteers to do necessary preparation before going to this place. In some cases volunteers need to get vaccinated against some diseases like yellow fever, malaria, etc before visiting these places. We prefer you to take small gifts to local people there.
