Major responsibilities of volunteers:

• Help to build a school for children who may have never set foot inside a classroom
• Work on a community water project, helping to provide clean, safe drinking water for children and families
• Explore the local villages, learn about the traditional Maasai culture and take Swahili lessons
• Participate in hands-on workshops learning about poverty - related issues in Africa
• Take in the scenic beauty of Kenya on nature hikes with expert guides

Since you are about to volunteer in another country, we ask you to make the necessary preparations before departing. We prefer volunteers to take some small gifts to the local people. Some communities might have high prevalence of viral diseases like malaria or yellow fever, so volunteers need to get vaccinated accordingly.
