Volunteer Costa Rica is a program designed for everyone, including High School and College students (coming with a Chaperone), professionals and others who are interested in living in Costa Rica while working in social interest projects such as female organizations, non profit organizations, associations, foundations, and communities dedicated to develop various projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Organize workshop related to forest conservation and restoration.
• Hard working.
• Friendly.

Program includes:

• Temporary work permit (for stays of more than 3 months)
• Airport transfer in.
• Two nights at a downtown hostel.
• An orientation session in Costa Rica.
• Participant’s manual.
• Volunteer work up to 18 months and Volunteer placement
• All the projects offer affordable accommodation usually with a family involved at the specific project.
• 24-hour emergency assistance during the length of the program.
• By request, at the end of the program, the organization presents the student a Letter of Recommendation detailing the activities developed by the volunteer during his or her stay.
• OTEC Volunteer Program will present with a certificate of participation once the program is concluded, after filling an evaluation

Programs not include:

• Transportation from and to your country of origin, internal transports, personal expenses
• Health insurance (Mandatory).
• Any other service not mentioned above.
