Overview

Tsavo East is one of the national parks of Kenya that is well known for its unique safari experience. It has been one of the oldest parks of Kenya, since it was found in 1948. There is another side to this park which is known as the Tsavo West, the reason why it was divided into east and west was because of a railway passing between these two sides. Also, it is well known as the largest park of Kenya as it covers thousands of kilometers of land and has almost four gates.

  • Day 1 - Mombasa– Tsavo East National park

    We depart mombasa 0700 hrs and drive to Tsavo East National park. Lunch, Dinner and overnight stay voi safari lodge
    This park was famed for its large herds of elephant covered in red dust and fine scenery. We visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks
    (attracts elephants in the drier season) and Aruba Dam as we view game if time permits. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge

  • Day 2 - Tsavo East- mombasa

    Early breakfast then game enroute to mombasa for your beach leisure

One of them is the Galana river which is the 2nd longest river of Kenya and when it gushes through this park, it forms rapids which are known as Lugards Falls. You can also find Mudanda Rock, it is a huge rock with drinking water at it's base, where many animals are attracted to drink water. Another amazing place you can find is the Yatta Plateau which was formed by a lava flowing from mountain Sabuk and this lava was the longest in the world. Also, This park is home for hundreds of birds and many big animals like, Hippos, Elephants, Lions, Leopards and more.

A tour to this park can give you an amazing experience which you can always cherish. We've mostly watched wild life from our homes on TV's, but travelling through this park, you can live the wildlife around you and watch all the animals walking around, doing their natural activities. It would be a great opportunity to take photos and an amazing experience to share with everybody. You'll get a chance to watch animals drinking and playing in water, elephants taking dust baths, watch different bird species which you might have watched on TV or only heard of!
