Overview
Do you want to provide relief to the orphans and underprivileged children while experiencing a beautiful and warm culture?
Due to rampant poverty, the effects of brutal genocide, unemployment and several other tragic circumstances, thousands of children are left as orphans in Cambodia. The government and local NGOs strive to provide adequate facilities and care to these children, but these efforts are not enough. IFRE Volunteers’ Cambodia orphanage volunteer program partners with local organizations to offer the love, care, and attention these disadvantaged children truly crave and deserve.
As a volunteer in Cambodia for the orphanage program, you will help support orphans by teaching them English and assisting with daily activities. You will also organize extracurricular activities, such as games, singing and music activities, learning the traditional Khmer dance, among others. Your presence will give these children a new ray of hope and help them lead a happy life.
Important Information
Volunteers must be between 18 years above and possess strong love and passion for working with disadvantaged children. While you don’t need any official training or experience, you are expected to be comfortable with and enjoy being around children and possess a deep passion for providing them what they need.
