Overview
Do you want to help children succeed by teaching them vital English skills? The demand for English language skills is very high in Cambodia and English fluency is often related to employment success. The children who belong to rural and poorer areas do not get the opportunity to study in private school and the public school lack fluent English teachers. As a result, these underprivileged children are deprived of the vital English language. You can participate in this teaching English program and make a real difference in the life of these destitute children.
As part of this program, you will work as an English teacher in public schools. Apart from teaching, you will hold debates and discussions to improve your students' conversational skills and organize extracurricular activities such as sports and games, as well as creative tasks like drawing, singing and dancing. It is an amazing opportunity as your support will help the disadvantaged children find work in the country’s massive tourist industry and lead a happy and harmonious life.
Important Information
Volunteers must be 18 years old or above. You don’t need any specific training, qualifications or experience beyond this, but native speakers or those with previous teaching experience will have an advantage.
