HOLA GHANA offers you the opportunity to collaborate as a volunteer for a local NGO, serving and helping other people to be part of the change. We view international experiences as a pathway for personal growth, which helps participants develop their service potential, as well as providing learning and the opportunity to acquire professional skills and competencies.
The volunteer's work does not require administrative tasks, but they will have the opportunity to visit and collaborate in different projects in the field. The experience of extreme poverty changes people radically, altering their deep nature. Peering into the absolute shortcomings of others is a brutal shock. Seeing misery up close for the first time is perplexing. Staying among her even without sharing her, constantly contemplating her, forces her to react.
The accommodation of the volunteers as well as the meals are carried out with local families who put their homes and their time at their disposal to help them live a unique experience. You will be able to know first-hand the traditions and typical food, having long conversations that will help you better understand reality. A part of the donation goes directly to them, assuming a great direct impact.
