  • Day 1 - Yerevan-Ejmiatsin

    Pick-up from the airport. Visit the statue of Mother Armenia – the symbol of strength and patriotism, then the Cascade Complex, consisting of 572 steps and halls of art exhibitions, statues.Then we will visit Matenadaran-one of three the largest depositories of manuscripts in the world. We will direct our steps towards Republic Square. Then we will visit the first Christian church in the world – Ejmiatsin Cathedral built in 301 AD. The cathedral also has a museum-depository of holy relics and antiquity.

  • Day 2 - Visit Garni and Geghard

    Today we will visit pagan symbol of Armenia, Garni Temple dedicated to the god of sun, and Geghard Monastery partially carved out of the surrounding rocks and located close to Garni. The day will come to an end with a visit to the Vernissage open-air market, where Armenian handmade souvenirs, jewelries, carpets and anything related to the culture are exhibited and sold.

  • Day 3 - Khor Virap, Noravank monasteries and Areni winery

    Today we will visit Khor Virap Monastery where the adoption of Christianity as state religion has set its roots. We continue to another terrific 13th century Noravank Monastery with gorgeous red rocked surroundings. On the way back to Yerevan, we will get a chance to taste local Armenian wines, visiting Areni Winery, the wine in this region is mainly made from endemic Areni grapes. Then back to Yerevan.

  • Day 4 - Explore Yerevan on your own

    Today you will have a day free to explore Yerevan, founded in 782 BC, on our own. Take your time and enjoy its museums, parks, weather permitting outdoor cafes and restaurants. Can freely ask your travel agent if there is an opera or ballet performance to visit, or wherever you are interested in or spend the evening in one of the excellent Jazz clubs (for your information, Jazz was forbidden in the Soviet times).

  • Day 5 - Visit Sevan and Armenian Switzerland and Tbilisi

    Today we will go to lake Sevan, the blue queen in between the crossroads and mountain ranges. We will visit the 9th century Sevanavank Monastery right on the hilltop of Sevan Peninsula. Later on, we will visit Dilijan, also known as "little Switzerland" for its lush hilly forests and nature. We will have a stop in Old Dilijan Complex, have a look at the town’s architecture and visit artisans shops. Later on we will drive Bagratashen to pass the border to Georgia.

  • Day 6 - Tour in Tbilisi

    Today we will explore Georgia, admiring culture and ancient historical heritage.We will have a walk in Old Tbilisi, the main tourist attraction of the capital, famous for its bathhouses with their natural hot springs, snaking lanes, cobbled narrow streets, traditional old houses and modern cafes. We will also visit a three-floor underground construction, called Holy Trinity Church of Tbilisi. Then we will visit Georgia’s spiritual centre, Mtskheta, where we will seeJvari Monastery on the hilltop. Later on we will visit Svetitskhoveli cathedral.

  • Day 7 - Ananuri Castle, Gudauri, Military Highway

    Today we will visit Zhinvali Reservoir, surrounded by a fortress and a 12th century monastery, half of which is submerged into the water. The lake is also famous for its Ananuri Castle which is right next to the reservoir. We will continue to Gudauri – a famous ski resort of Georgia. On the road we will stop at Gudauri Viewpoint “Georgian-Russian Friendship” monument, overlooking the Devil’s Valley. The drive continues on the Georgian Military Highway. Later on we will visit the 14th century Holy trinity Church of Gergeti.

  • Day 8 - Explore Sighnaghi-City of love and Wine tasting

    Today we will taste and explore Georgian bready cheeses in its cuisine. After a satisfying meeting with the Georgian cuisine, we will direct ourselves to the 11th century Bobde Monastery, with its structures and surroundings. Then we will visit the city of love – red roofed city Sighnaghi. With its interesting round-blocked red-roofed architecture the city of love is famous for its dome where you can marry at any time. We will have a wine tasting and lunch in Sighnaghi. Evening back to Tbilisi.
