Koprivshtitsa, the Rose Valley and Starosel Thracian Temple cycling day tour

We will pick you up from your hotel or address in Sofia or Plovdiv and within two hours we will arrive in the historical town of Koprivshtitsa. We will have a guided tour in the architectural reserve visiting Kableshkov’s and Liutov’s ethnographic house-museums. Later we get on the bikes heading towards Strelcha town. On our way we will visit a functioning rose oil distillery, where we may observe the process of producing rose and lavender oil. We bike on a picturesque road in the Rose valley passing by rose fields and small villages. Our next stop is the oldest ever found royal Thracian complex with a mausoleum dating back to the 5th and 4th century BC. We visit the Thracian Temple Complex and head with the bikes for another few kilometers towards a wine farm with mineral water pools, where we can taste fine selection of local wines and relax deeply in the thermal pools fed by hot spring waters.
