We will pick you up with our 4×4 vehicle and drive up to Christakis refuge. A mixture of tarmac (the first 20 kilometers until Kalivia Elassonas) and dirt road (the next 22Km) lie ahead of us until we reach the refuge at an altitude of 2,430 meters. From here we start our hiking ascend (approx. 60-70 min.), initially on an uphill, part of the E4 (European Trail) path, traversing the peak of Skolio (2,912m)- reaching Skala, from where we will continue our hiking adventure towards the most demanding part of the ascend. We then follow “Kakoskala”, enjoying a scramble climb until the peak of Mytikas (2,917m) where Zeus used to observe the whole of Greece!
