Overview

Evergreen Adventures was launched to showcase Guyana’s natural beauty, its rich multicultural society and its diverse landscapes. We want to show the world our beloved land and all of its exotic qualities.

This tour will take you through Georgetown, the capital of Guyana, also known as the Garden City. The breathtaking architecture of centuries gone by will surely provide scenic views, which will be etched in your memory for a long, long time.

  • Day 1 - Georgetown City Tour

    10:00AM: Check-In
    Our tour guide will pick you up at a central point in Georgetown, occasionally we use Pegasus hotel as a starting point.

    10:15AM – 1:00 PM: Tour of the City
    You’ll be taken to see many places of interest within Georgetown such as Stabroek Market which is also called “Big Market” by the locals because it sells everything under the sun, the St. George’s Cathedral which is the tallest wooden church in the world, the National Museum, Walter Roth Museum of Anthropology, the famous, and very uniquely Guyanese, Sea Walls and many more popular and fascinating locations within Georgetown. As our tour guide takes you around the city you’ll see the old colonial architecture that is a part of the rich history of the city. You’ll also have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs, craft, and/or jewelry and more.
    At the end of the tour, you’ll be taken to another popular market, Bourda Market, to cool down with a refreshing drink of coconut water fresh from the nut.

    1:00PM Return
    After you’ve had your coconut water, our guide will return you to the pickup location.
