Located in Playas del Coco, Rich Coast Diving will help you begin your dream career as a PADI Professional. Our PADI Dive Master Program has been the starting point for hundreds of people from around the world.

You can start any given day and there are 3 different options (1,2 and 3 months) suitable for your time and budget. Note that with all our prices the 13% tax is already inlcuded ! The prerequisite for the programs offered below is Rescue Diver. Not a Rescue Diver yet ? We´ll train you up to the required level. Contact us directly for prices.

How do you earn your DM certification ? As divemaster trainee you will be part of the Rich Coast Diving team and you will be trained to become a dive professional ready to be employed. It is hard work but you will meet great people, have a lot of fun and a lot of great diving in the most beautiful country in the world !

1. Independent Study - PADI eLearning
Your DM program comes with PADI eLearning which makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology whenever, wherever it's convenient for you. And you can start before you start the program so you come prepared.

2. At the Dive center with your Instructors
The DM program is an intensive training course. It consists of pool sessions, open water sessions, workshops and you will be assisting on courses. You will also assist on guiding certified divers of differing abilities at different sites in varying conditions. All of these skills are better learned by working with actual customers in real-life situations. Most of what you will learn be learned by shadowing our staff and gradually taking on more and more responsibility as your divemaster training progresses. As part of the Rich Coast team you will gain all the knowledge and experience you need to be a valuable Divemaster ready to be employed.

Prerequisites:
- Be medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months
- Minimum age: 18 years or older
- As Divemaster trainee you will need your personal mask, fins, snorkel, dive computer, DSMB with reel, compass, knife / divers’ tool, sound device (whistle) and dive light. As Scuba Pro and Cressi dealer we do sell these items at our shop but it might be cheaper to bring them from your home country.

Total time commitment: 4 weeks to 3 month programs available.
Certification level: Let us know your certification level and we will train you up to the required level to start the PADI Divemaster Course. Not a diver yet ? No problem we train you from zero to hero!
