Overview
Masai Mara is one of the most famous wildlife conservation areas in the world, with a rich & varied collection of African wildlife. This 4 days Masai Mara road safari departing from Nairobi offers travellers an amazing safari experience with accommodation in quality lodges or camps including six exciting, private game drives inside the main Maasai Mara National Reserve. This tour is ideal for tourists arriving on the morning flights into Nairobi from US, UK, and India markets as they do not require an overnight stay in the city prior to the Safari. Travelers from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE if arriving on the Emirates and Etihad flights will most likely require an overnight in Nairobi.
4 DAYS MAASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK MID RANGE
- Day 1 - The Unbridled Masai Mara
Our driver guide reports to your hotel for Start of the safari, with a 8 - 8.30am departure for a scenic drive down into the Rift Valley, to Masai Mara, Kenya's premier game reserve. You will be in your own private safari vehicle. Stop briefly enroute at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for stunning views of what is the world's largest valley. Arrive at Masai Mara for lunch. The afternoon game drive at 3.30 pm allows spotting of the unrivalled wildlife Dinner and overnight at Basecamp option of Enkorok Camp or Mara Sopa Lodge or similar, in case of unavailability.
- Day 2 - The Unbridled Masai Mara
You enjoy two game drives per day, one in the morning at 6.15am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch. As your safari is private your game drive timings are flexible, useful if you are travelling with children, or are on a honeymoon. You may also choose to have a full day game drive [ one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return to your camp by evening.
Dinner and overnight at Basecamp Option of Enkorok Camp or Mara Sopa Lodge or similar, in case of unavailability. - Day 3 - The Unbridled Masai Mara
Full day at Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. You may want to add a Maasai Village visit or a Hot air Balloon ride into your safari. Return to your camp by evening.
Dinner and overnight at Basecamp option of Enkorok Camp or Mara Sopa Lodge or similar, in case of unavailability - Day 4 - The Unbridled Masai Mara
Wake up to the soothing sounds of nature and enjoy a delightful breakfast between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. As
your journey in Mara ends, take some time to appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of your surroundings.
By 9:30 a.m., it will be time to check out of your camp/lodge. However, the adventure doesn’t end just yet.
We’ll take you to visit a local Maasai community, providing you with a unique opportunity to immerse yourself
in their authentic culture. Experience the vibrant Maasai dancing, witness the bravery of Maasai warriors, and
gain insight into their traditional way of life. Explore the traditional huts, known as manyattas, and learn about
the rich heritage and customs of the Maasai people

Important Information
• Ensure you have a valid passport with at least six months validity beyond your extended stay
• Health precautions visit your doctor before the dates of travel regarding malaria vaccination and any other
• The Masai Mara experiences a dry season (June to October) and a rainy season (November to May). Pack accordingly with lightweight, breathable clothing for warmer days and layering options for cooler mornings and evenings. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are essential for sun protection.
• The official currency in Kenya is the Kenyan Shilling (KES). Credit cards are accepted at larger hotels and lodges, but it's advisable to carry cash (in small denominations) for smaller purchases and tips.
