Accumulating everything good about the Annapurnas, the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is one of the classic trekking routes around the region. Connecting an unforgettable Himalayan sunrise as seen from Poon Hill to the Base Camp of Annapurna I (8,091m), this journey simply has it all. Trekking through the lush green forests guided by the majestic Himalayas on the horizon, the journey takes us to the quaint Gurung hamlets where ancient culture is reflected in the unique way of the villager's lives. Perhaps one of the most aesthetically pleasing journeys, the sights of entire forests covered in veritable shades of red, white, and pink foliage simply demands your attention.
Taking a day off at the Kathmandu valley to tour its stunning heritage, while also preparing for the trip, we begin our Himalayan adventure by heading towards the stunning city of Pokhara. Driving towards the trailhead at Nayapul, we begin the journey heading towards the hamlet of Tikhedhunga for our first night on the go. Climbing the arduous staircase over to Ulleri, we will reach Ghorepani before heading towards the Himalayan viewpoint of Poon Hill. Enjoying the stunning Himalayan panorama of the majestic Annapurna Himalayas, we will then make our way back to the hamlet of Sinuwa before heading towards Deurali. Further on, the path crosses the Machhapuchhre Base Camp and the trail then takes us to the Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4130m. Exploring the stunning Himalayan landscape, we will then make our way over to the village of Bamboo before enjoying the pleasantly hot water springs at Jhinu Danda. The final days of the trek let us journey over to the hamlet of Pothana before we eventually descend towards the Phedi village, which brings our trek to a close.

- Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m/4265ft)
You will be greeted by a Himalaya Land Treks representative who will guide you directly to the hotel. Himalaya land treks guide offers you a welcome dinner.
- Day 2 - Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation
On the first day of our journey and we begin with a scenic tour around Kathmandu, sightseeing UNESCO world heritage sites, such as Pashupati Nath Temple, A holy Temple Swyambhunath, Boudhanath stupa and Durbar Square.
- Day 3 - Drive to Pokhara (820m/2690ft) 6-7 hours
An early start to the day, we will begin our journey heading over to the valley of Pokhara. It will take around 6 hours by drive.
- Day 4 - Drive to Nayapul (1hr 30min) and trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m/5052ft) 3-4 hours
After your Breakfast, you will get transfer by private car to Nayapul which takes approximately 2 hours. The first day of the trek and we begin our journey with a scenic drive headed towards the hilly hamlet of Nayapul located just beyond the scenic Modi Khola.
- Day 5 - Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2880m/9449ft) 6 hours
One of the more challenging days of the trip today, we climb over to Ghorepani for the night through the rhododendron forest
- Day 6 - Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210m/10532ft) and to Tadapani (2620m/8596ft) 6-7 hours
An early start to the day, we begin our journey with a scenic hike to the Himalayan viewpoint of Poon Hill to see the sunrise of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range.
- Day 7 - Trek from Tadapani to Sinuwa (2360m/7743ft) 5-6 hours
Exiting Tadapani, we begin our journey once again following the lush green forests towards Sinuwa for the night.
- Day 8 - Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali (3230m/10597ft) 5-6 hours
Making our way out of Sinuwa, we begin our journey once again ascending through the lush green forests towards Dovan.
- Day 9 - Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m/13550ft) 4-5 hours
Wrapping up our things at Deurali, we begin our ascending journey through the snowy trail to reach the Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m).
- Day 10 - Trek from ABC to Bamboo (2300m/7546ft) 6-7 hours
A scenic start to the day blessed with views of the Annapurna Range at sunrise makes the trek more beautiful.
- Day 11 - Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1770m/5807ft) 4-5 hours
Exiting Bamboo, the trail begins its descending journey heading towards Jhinu Danda for the night.
- Day 12 - Trek from Jhinu Danda to Pothana (1890m/6201ft) 5-6 hours
Through the banks of the stunning Modi Khola, we once again begin our journey heading towards Pothana for the night.
- Day 13 - Trek from Pothana to Phedi (3hours) and drive to Pokhara |45 Mins
The final day of trekking, the journey descends over to Phedi located alongside the Baglung- Pokhara Highway.
- Day 14 - Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu | Farewell Dinner (6-7 hours)
With an early start to the day, the journey begins as we make our way out of the Pokhara valley, once again finding the winding bends of the Prithvi Highway.
- Day 15 - Departure day
A company representative will drop you back to Tribhuvan International Airport just in time for your flight back home. We hope you had a lovely time with us and we look forward to seeing you again.
