Overview
A lodge to lodge based trek to Annapurna Circuit is the best trek. It is a 16 days trek including 1 rest day at Manang before heading to Throng La pass (5,416 m). Namely, you’ll come across acres of valleys, rhododendron forests and waterfalls, as well as the villages of the Gurung people. You can learn about their customs and traditions, as well as discover sacred temples and UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu. Time for all of this is neatly slotted into your 15-day trip, as are breaks for meals and hotel stays. After all, you might want to keep following these storied trails forever, but you’re going to need to stop once in a while and get some rest.

- Day 1 - Arrival and transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival welcome and transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu. Rest of the time is free.
- Day 2 - Bus to Syange
A comfortable bus depart from Kathmandu at 7 am through the Prithivi high way. Along the way it will stop for lunch. Arrival and hotel check in.
- Day 3 - Tal trek to Dharapani 7hrs.
Today’s trek continues through the deep wooded canyon embellished by stunning waterfalls. You’ll be venturing into the Manang district of the mountain range, with much of the trail ascending throughout the day.
- Day 4 - Dharapani trek to Chame (2,700m), 6 hrs
Marking the end of the great Marsyangdi River Gorge, make a steep climb to Timang, then the trail settles into gentler slopes as the vegetation transforms from dense pine forests to drier slopes. The district headquarters of Manang, Chame, is the largest settlement after Besisahar
- Day 5 - Chame trek to pisang (3,200m), 5 hrs
Slowly you are going to enter into the different world and gaining the elevation and walking through the pine forest. Pissang is the inhabitant of Gurung people.
- Day 6 - Pisang trek to Manang (3,440 m), 6 hrs
Trek the northern trail via upper Pisang and Ghyaru – an area renowned for its spectacular views. It is now drier and you are sure to come across local farmers herding yaks. Here’s a hot tip – Tibetan yaks take a special interest in people wearing red, so choose your gear carefully today!
- Day 7 - Acclimatize day in Manang
Spend a day here to acclimatize by doing some high climbing up to Monastery, then return to the lower altitude of Manang for the night. Manang is a village of about 500 flat-roofed houses, offers excellent views of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, and Chulu East.
- Day 8 - Manang trek to Yak Kharka (4050m), 5hrs
You will be walking as a slog due to the altitude. Along the way, you will encounter Musk deer, Himalayan Thar, and all-mountain range. It is an easy and short hike due to the altitude.
- Day 9 - Yak Kharka Trek to High camp (4,925 m), 5 hrs
Today leisurely walk to Throng Phedi and have a Lunch then 2hrs hike to High Camp. It offers great landscapes and Mountain views.
- Day 10 - High Camp trek to Muktinath (3,760 m) over Throng pass (5,416 m). 7 hrs
Probably the hardest day of the entire trek. Early morning ascend 490m to the Throng la top and walk down to Muktinath. This is a pilgrimage holy place in Annapurna region. Once you are in Muktinath you are entering into the different world which you may feel.
- Day 11 - Muktinath trek to Kagbeni and Jomsom(2,810 m), 4hrs
The most relaxed day and walking into the barren land and facing to the warier caves, visit the hundreds of years Monastery and Experience the Tibetan tribes. Walkabout 3 hours to Kagbeni for Lunch and explore the area. After having Lunch walk to Jomsom for another 2 hours.
Note: If you would like to end up your trek here, there is a flight facility from Jomsom to Pokhara and end up the trek earlier.
- Day 12 - omsom bus to Tatopani (1,200 m), 5 hrs
After having breakfast at your lodge, take a bus to Tatopani for Natural Hot spring. Enjoy the day and evening. Jomsom to Tatopani route is all by road to walk and not the interesting part.
- Day 13 - Tatopani bus to Pokhara 7 hours
Pokhara is a nice and clean city on the lap of Annapurna Himalayas. If you are interested to extend your stay in Pokhara, please kindly let us know we will rearrange your accommodation as per your requirement. There are non-stars to five stars hotel.
- Day 14 - Morning bus departure to Kathmandu
arrival and transfer to Hotel, evening farewell dinner at Nepalese typical Restaurant.
- Day 15 - Final departure
After having breakfast, we will drop you at Kathmandu international airport for your final departure.
