The 12-day trekking adventure in Nepal offers a moderate challenge level, accommodating groups of 1-16 people, with hotel and guest house accommodations, and a maximum altitude of 5,545m/18,192ft. The best seasons for this trek are March to May and September to December, featuring meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and 4 to 5 hours of walking each day. Transportation includes private vehicles and flights, making it an exciting and varied journey.
The Everest Base Camp trek in Nepal is an adventurous and challenging journey leading you to the base of the world's highest peak, Mt. Everest. Along the way, you'll witness breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, and Mt. Cho Oyu. This trek is not only about the stunning landscapes but also a chance to explore the rich culture of the Sherpa people.
The best times for this trek are from February to May (pre-monsoon) or October to November (post-monsoon). The weather is pleasant during these periods, offering clear views of the snow-capped mountains. The post-monsoon season is colder but more comfortable, providing excellent opportunities for hiking to Gokyo Lakes.
The 14-day trek includes visits to Namche Bazar, Tengboche Monastery, and the Khumbu Glacier. You'll also have a chance to explore Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The trip covers accommodation, meals, transportation (including a domestic flight), guides, and necessary equipment.

- Day 1 - Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding - (2,652m) 3/4 hrs walk
We catch an early morning flight to Lukla, which lasts about 30 minutes. Once we land at Lukla airport, we start a trek to Phakding. The trek covers a distance of 6.2 kilometers (3.85 miles) and takes approximately 3 hours. During the day, we'll be provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At night, we'll stay in a lodge room with a bathroom attached.
- Day 2 - Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,285 ft) [6 hrs walk]
We'll walk from Phakding to Namche Bazaar. It's a distance of 7.4 kilometers, and it will take us about 6 hours. Along the way, we'll have breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided. At night, we'll stay in a lodge room that has its own bathroom.
- Day 3 - Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar - (3440m)
We'll begin with a challenging one-hour uphill trek to Syangboche at 3790m. From there, we'll gradually make our way up to Khunde. After that, we'll head east to Khumjung, situated at the base of the sacred peak Khumbila. After a lunch break in Khumjung, we'll slowly climb to Everest View Hotel to take in breathtaking mountain views. Finally, we'll descend towards Namche at 3540m.
Meals are provided (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner), and we'll be staying overnight in a lodge.
- Day 4 - Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche - (3,860m) 5 hrs walk
After breakfast today, we'll begin our trek from Namche to Tengboche. Meals like breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included, and we'll be staying overnight at a lodge.
- Day 5 - Trek from Tengboche to Pheriche - (4,410m) 5 hrs walk
Today, we're going to walk downhill through a forest, cross the Imja Khola river, and then go uphill to reach the village of Pangboche. In Pangboche, you'll get amazing views of Mt. Ama Dablam [6,856 m]. You'll see a monastery, stone walls with Buddhist inscriptions, and some scattered pine trees in front of the mountain. After that, we'll walk for about two more hours to get to Pheriche, where we'll spend the night.

- Day 6 - A day to rest and chill out - (4,410m)
Today, we're taking a break in Pheriche. We'll check out the Tshola Tsho lake and admire the tall cliffs of Cholatse and Tawache. We can also climb up a ridge to see Dingboche from above and enjoy the view of the Imja Valley and the impressive south face of Mt. Lhotse.
Meals are provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
We'll be staying overnight in Pheriche.
- Day 7 - Trek to Lobuche - (4,910m) 5 hrs walk
After we eat breakfast in the morning, we'll begin our trek to Lobuche. It will take us around 5 hours to reach our destination. Meals for the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are included. We'll be staying overnight at a lodge.
- Day 8 - Trek to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakshep for the night - (5400m) 8 hrs walk
We're going on a 2-hour hike up to Gorakshep. The first part is easy, but after an hour, it gets a bit challenging. After climbing about 150m, it gets easier again. Soon, we'll reach the moraine and finally, Gorakshep at 5160m, the world's highest settlement. After lunch, we'll head to Everest Base Camp, walking on the side ridge of the Khumbu glacier for about 1.5 hours. Then, we'll cross the glacier into the Everest Base Camp area, reaching an altitude of 5360m. We can chat with other climbers, enjoy views of the Khumbu glacier and Icefall, and see the challenging crevasses on the climbing route. After celebrating our achievements and taking photos, we'll return to Gorakshep. The entire day will take about 6-7 hours. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Accommodation: Overnight at a Lodge.
- Day 9 - Trek to Pheriche. via Kala Patthar - (4210m) 7 hrs walk
We'll begin our hike to Kalapathar early in the morning. We'll enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the stunning Himalayan mountains, savoring a unique view and experience. Afterward, we'll head back to Pheriche.
Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Accommodation: We'll stay overnight at a lodge.
- Day 10 - Trek back to Namche - (3440m) 6 hrs walk
We're going back to Namche from Pheriche, which takes about 6 hours. Tonight, we'll stay at a lodge in Namche, and our meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are all included. We plan to relax, have some beers, and enjoy some comfort today in Namche.
- Day 11 - Trek to Lukla - (2800m) 7 hrs walk
Today is our final day in these beautiful mountains. We're heading back towards Lukla via the Dudh Koshi River, and the journey takes about 7 hours from Namche.

Accommodation: We'll stay overnight in Lukla.
- Day 12 - Flight back to Kathmandu. Farewell Dinner in Kathmandu
Today, we're flying back from Lukla to Kathmandu. Once we get to Kathmandu, you have the entire day free. We'll take you to the hotel, and you can choose to either relax or check out the local markets.
Since it's your last day in Kathmandu, we've arranged a special Farewell Dinner for you. You'll get to enjoy Nepali cuisine and cultural dance.
