Amigos de Jesús is a love story with many different parts. It started with a vision birthed from the heart of Sister Teresita, a Honduran nun working in the poorest communities seeing countless children on the street. Christine and Anthony Granese, a North American lay couple newly married at the time and Father Dennis O’Donnell, an Archdiocesan priest from Philadelphia, PA teamed up to make this vision a reality. Amigos de Jesús is a movement of the unique spirituality of Jesus in service to the children we serve, each other and the world.
Amigos de Jesús is a home for abandoned, abused and impoverished children in rural Honduras. Our "Hogar" has residences for staff and volunteers, a bilingual school, church, working farm, and wood & metal shops.
