Motse Botswana

Motse Wildlife Eco-Volunteers is an initiative at Limpopo-Lipadi Game Reserve, a 20,500 ha reserve just inside the border of Botswana. The reserve is accessible from Johannesburg Airport by transfer that we can arrange, or you can drive yourself. It boasts lions, elephants, wild dogs, zebra, giraffe, hippos, crocodiles and more.

On a beautiful wilderness reserve on the Limpopo-River, Motse volunteers aide with research on lions, elephants, African wild dogs, many other wildlife species and community conservation projects. Volunteers are involved in farm to wild rehabilitation as well as wildlife monitoring. The program offers a greater variety of experience than many eco-volunteer programs in the region, with great opportunities for game viewing, community interaction and a rewarding experience.
