Para La Tierra conserves fragile habitats in Paraguay through scientific research, community engagement, and environmental education.

Promoting sustainable tourism:
Para La Tierra promotes Paraguay internationally as an ideal destination for ‘sustainable social tourism’. This new approach to tourism encourages visitors to contribute towards existing social, scientific and conservation projects that are designed to have a positive impact on the country.

Where we work:

We’re based in Pilar in the Neembucu Department. .

Our objectives:

Our main aim is to help to protect these globally endangered habitats and their inhabitants. We do this by a variety of methods including recruiting volunteers to help and working with the local community.

Take part:

We offer a variety of experiences where volunteers can take part in any of our projects. As a volunteer, you can even have a go at all of our projects. Our flexible induction program will give you a taste of everything that’s going on, so you can decide what you like best.
