However, you cannot take a single step in the streets of GOREE without being reminded of that abominable African Slave Trade. It played an important part in the early days of the African American history. GOREE is the most attractive destination for visiting historical places. In fact, it was the last African soil many Slaves touched before being deported to American destinations. One of the most painful history humanity ever faced. The highlight of our visit to GOREE is the Door-Of-No-Return in the Slave House. An estimated 20 million African Slaves were shipped from here between the 15th through the 18th century never to return. With our knowledgeable Tour Guide, you will get a real sense of why this place is such a great tourist attraction and the most visited place in the country. You cannot visit GOREE and remain the same person you were previously.
