5 days 4 nights Authentic African kruger Park Safari

Early morning departure from OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, for a leisurely drive of 4 hours through to Nelspruit. Upon arrival in Nelspruit, you will be met by your guide, where you will embark on a short drive to the gates of the Kruger National Park. Upon entering the Kruger National Park, we take a leisurely drive with your guide aboard one of our Open Safari vehicles. We make our way to the rest camp that you will be staying in for check-in and to enjoy a light lunch. Accommodation consists of twin-bedded Safari Tents with linen, bath towels, and soap or simple twin-bedded huts. Communal ablution facilities are used on these safaris, which have showers, toilets, and baths separate for men and women. Depart for your first game drive at 15h00pm. Dinner is prepared by your guides.

Early morning wake-up call, time to enjoy some early morning tea, coffee, and rusks prior to departing on your game drive. The day starts early in the Kruger National Park with gates opening early depending on the time of the year. It is always good to be out and about as early as possible to still find the cats on the prowl before the heat of the day. Breakfast is enjoyed at either your camp where you are staying or at one of the many picnic areas found in the park. After breakfast, we continue our game viewing, stopping off at water holes, following river lines, and making our way back to camp during the heat of the day in summer October to April giving you time for a light lunch and then allowing you to relax, swim, read your book or enjoy a siesta. In winter we can stay out a bit longer from May to September. We depart once again three hours before sunset for our afternoon safari, returning to camp before gate closing time. Dinner is prepared by your guides.

This morning depart early from camp after an early morning cup of Tea, Coffee, and rusks to get you woken up for your next days game drive, watching the sunrise over the African plains in search of the Big 5. We return to camp mid-day for a light lunch. We will depart once again at 15h30pm for an afternoon game drive till the sun sets when we return to camp for dinner which is prepared by your guides over a campfire (Barbeque).

Another early morning start with the enjoyment of some tea, coffee, and rusks and chatter of trying to spot the Big 5 either at the waterhole or still on the prowl before the heat of the day. Should you wish to be more adventurous, you may want to book an early morning Bush Walk with the park’s rangers (Own Account) before returning to camp for a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you may want to explore the camp with its many smaller creatures that are found in abundance or just relax at your accommodations. A late afternoon game drive can be enjoyed 3 hours before sunset when you will return for your last night listening to the night sounds, while your guides prepare dinner.

Another early morning wake-up call, time to enjoy some more tea, coffee, and rusks prior to departure. This morning you have the opportunity of going out on another early morning game drive before breakfast we may even take our luggage with us and have breakfast at one of the picnic areas before departing from the park. (Your guide will notify you the night before). Upon departure from the Kruger National Park, you take a short drive back to Nelspruit, where you will meet your transfer vehicle back to Johannesburg, arriving back by 17h30pm. You can also choose to be dropped off at Nelspruit or Skukuza Airport or Kruger Mpumalanga Airport at a time to be advised by you.
