  • Day 1 - Dushanbe Airport Pick-up & City Tour

    Welcome to capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe! Our guide and the driver will pick you up at Dushanbe Airport and send you to the hotel. At noon, the traditional Tajikistan cuisine will be served on time. After lunch, we will visit the National Museum of Antiquities, Botanical Garden and Victory Park. The National Museum of Antiquities displays more than 5,000 cultural relics, including ceramics, stoneware and glass… The treasure of the museum is the Sleeping Buddha, which is 13 meters long and weighs 5.5 tons.

  • Day 2 - Dushanbe city tour with Hisor fortress

    The first stop of today's Tajikistan private tours is the Hisor Fortress. We will drive 1 hour to get there. There are ancient Islamic schools, old mosques, and inns for Silk Road merchants and camels to spend the night. The next destination is the Rudaki Park in the center of Dushanbe which is built to commemorate the medieval poet Rudaki. Then we will walk by National Library, White House, National state seal, House of parliament, Statue of Ismoil Somoni, Ministry of Inner Affairs,and Dushanbe Flagpole. The Tajik flagpole is the second tallest flagpole in the world, with a height of 165 meters. After lunch, our guide will show you the National Museum and the gorgeous Navruz Palace. Finally, head to the lively Asian bazaar. Today's dinner is an authentic Tajik meal.

  • Day 3 - Drive to Nurek Dam, Back to Dushanbe

    Today, the guide and the driver will escort you to visit Nurek Dam in Nurek city. Built on the Vakhsh River, the 300-meter high Nurek Dam is the second tallest dam in the world. After that, have lunch and return to Dushanbe.

  • Day 4 - Drive 3h to Iskanderkul Lake

    We will drive to the Iskanderkul Lake via the Anzob Pass (alt 3,372m), which is the largest lake in the Fann Mountains. It has a triangular shape and no fish live inside as the lake has a high mineral content. Upon arriving in the lake, we will hike for about 40 minutes along the river bank to the Iskanderkul Waterfall. There is a high platform which enables visitors to watch the rapid waterfall pouring down from the mountain closely. During the hike, we will pass by the Snake Lake. At noon, return back to Iskanderkul Lake for lunch. No itinerary will be arranged during the rest of the day. You can bath under sunshine on the pebble beach, rent a boat at your own expense to cruise the lake, or ask the guide to accompany you to view the surrounding scenery. We will stay one night in a guesthouse nearby the lake.

  • Day 5 - Drive through Alauddin Lakes, Penjikent half-day city tour

    After breakfast, our Tajikistan private tours to Penjikent will start. We will drive through Zarafshan valley and Alauddin Lakes of Fann Mountains to appreciate the magnificent scenery. After 5 hours' driving, we will reach Penjikent and begin the half-day city tour after lunch. First, we will visit the ancient city of Sarazm, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has a history of 5,500 years. Sarazm means "the beginning of the world". Then proceed to the Republican Museum of History and Local Lore of Rudaki and ruins of ancient Penjikent, the most striking discovery in Central Asian archaeology. In the end, we will stroll around a local bazaar.

  • Day 6 - Seven Lakes discovery

    Today the guide will lead you to explore Seven Lakes located 60KM south of Penjikent. The first stop is the 4th lake Nofin and we will take a short hiking there. The next place to visit is the 6th lake, Marguzor. It is known as the largest and most beautiful lake of the Seven Lakes. From there we will hike to the 7th lake. Return to Penjikent after lunch.

  • Day 7 - Drive Back to Dushanbe

    After breakfast, we will go back to Dushanbe by car, passing by the Anzob pass and tunnel of Isticlol. Have lunch after arrival in Dushanbe. There are no activities in the rest of the day and you can do whatever you like.

  • Day 8 - Dushanbe Airport See-off

    After breakfast, your guide will escort you to Dushanbe International Airport for your homeward flight.
