The 7-day itinerary takes you through Tanzania’s off the bitten- track awe-inspiring wildlife destination Lake Natron, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Lake Eyasi, and the legendary Serengeti to deliver a dramatic wildebeest migration, big cats, big game, and birding and authentic cultural experience safari.

Your adventure begins in Tanzania’s biggest breeding site of the lesser flamingoes Lake Natron. Then to the fable Serengeti to deliver breathtaking Mara River, and wildebeest crossing, and other big games during the Months of (July to October). Ngorongoro rich grass plains offer a chance to see the endangered black rhino before meeting the incredible Bushmen’s and Datoga people for an up-close cultural experience that will make your safari unforgettable. Our last stop will be Lake Manyara National park to search for the legendary tree-climbing lions and amazing birdlife here.

  • Day 1 - Arusha—Lake Natron.

    “Off-the-beaten truck”

    You leave Arusha after breakfast with a picnic lunch packed safely away. The Rift Valley landscape drifts past as your guide heads for Lake Natron, the least visited area on the itinerary but one capable of delivering legendary landscape. Home to East Africa’s biggest breeding site of the lesser flamingoes and water birds, check into your camp giraffe camp. After settling in you will be accompanied by a local guide from the area to do some of the activities on offer Maasai village visit, waterfall, Lake for the flamingoes sighting, and the vultures nesting site.

  • Day 2 - Lake Natron—Serengeti national park (north)

    Two days exploring Serengeti north, east and central

    After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park through Kleins Camp gate. Afterward, we visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world – Serengeti National Park. The word ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. Yet for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing. Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that brings them from central Serengeti to Kenya’s Maasai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. As the lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas, and jackals stalk their meals, three days of exploring the eastern and northern Serengeti for un-matched big cats sighting. Our camp Serengeti Heritage North/ Central is in the heart of it all, which allows movement to explore the big cat’s territories.

  • Day 3 - Full day Serengeti National Park

    A day exploring the ‘endless plains’, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. Yet for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing.   • Day 4 - Serengeti national park—Ngorongoro conservation

    Leaving Serengeti, you gain altitude as you are driven east and into the Ngorongoro conservation area. A packed lunch sustains you on the way, and before long you check into Rhino lodge, an eco-friendly lodge that sits on is tacked in southern part of the Ngorongoro crater, on clear days you get great views of Lake Eyasi, Lake Manyara, and the rich farming of the Ngorongoro highlands from the lodge, Sometimes on lucky days, you may have great sightings of zebra, buffaloes, and elephants around your lodge area which shows gives a sense of being in touch with nature. The next day you sit back on a full day drive in the crater itself, on the lookout for Ngorongoro’s famous Big 5 as well as other animals ranging from hippos, jackals, birds to hyenas. After drive to the remote shallow alkaline Lake of Eyasi for the up-close cultural experience of the Bushmen.

  • Day 5 - Ngorongoro crater- Lake Eyasi

    A day to explore the crater for 6-7 hours, on the lookout for Ngorongoro’s famous Big 5 as well as other animals ranging from hippos, jackals, birds to hyenas. After drive to the remote shallow alkaline Lake of Eyasi for the up-close cultural experience of the Bushmen.

  • Day 6 - Lake Eyasi--Manyara National Park

    Spend time with hunters, gathers and blacksmith people, accompanied throughout by your enticing guide and a local guide from the area, you will have the opportunity to engage with the Bushmen and learn all about their time-honored hunting techniques, survival skills, food preparation, and cultural norms. A veritable step back in time, this is an undeniably authentic cultural journey into rural Tanzania that reveals the untold world of these charismatic people.

    Amongst the world’s last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes inhabiting the scrubby bush land, men search for food alone and return home with golden honey, sweet fruit, or hearty wild game, if they are lucky to make a kill on their bush venture, while women go out in large groups and forage for bright berries, baobab fruit, and tubers, depending on availability. In the rainy wet season, sweet honey is the main staple of their diet along with colorful fruit, tubers, and sometimes meat.

    Adjusting their diets to the seasons this tribe is incredibly skilled, selective, and opportunistic seekers and searchers. They have only themselves to rely on to feed their families and tribe. After return to the lodge for brunch then proceed to Kilimanjaro through Arusha town.

  • Day 7 - Manyara National Park –Arusha

    Leave the camp after an early breakfast with a nice packed picnic lunch to go with and proceed to Lake Manyara national park for game viewing. The park is home to the famous tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffe, buffalo, big troops of baboon and more than 400 species of birds have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 50 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and giraffes sitting down.

    After lunch leave the park and head to Arusha, your guide will drop you at your hotel or Kilimanjaro international airport for you’re onwards connection
