Commencing from your Arusha hotel at approximately 7:30 am, we will embark on a 120-kilometer journey (2 hours) to Tarangire National Park on a well-paved road. Tarangire is renowned for hosting dry-country antelope, such as the rare fringe-eared oryx and the distinctive, long-necked gerenuk. In the southern swampy areas of the park, there are captivating wildlife viewing opportunities, including wallowing elephants and buffalo, the Silale Swamp lion pride, and occasionally wild dogs. Keep an eye out for large pythons that may be spotted in trees as the swamps begin to dry up.

A satisfying lunch awaits you at the picnic site, after which we will continue with game drives until it's time to conclude our visit. Following the game drives, we will proceed to Bougainvillea Safari Lodge for an overnight stay. The meal plan for this segment includes lunch and dinner.

  • Day 2 - Lake Eyasi (Bushmen & Blacksmiths Experience)

    Distance: 50km, ETA: 1 hour
    Activities Time: 6 hours
    Activities: Cultural Experience

Very early in the morning, we head to the villages for a local hunting and gathering experience with the Hadzabe (hunter-gatherer Bushmen) and Datoga (blacksmiths) tribes. The Hadzabe rely on foraging skills to survive. During this experience, pay close attention and stay quiet as they show how they track animals and use local poisons for hunting. Later, we'll visit their homes to learn about their way of life, medicinal plants, and more. In the evening, we drive back to Karatu town. Dinner and a place to sleep are at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge. You'll have breakfast, lunch, and dinner there.

  • Day 3 - Karatu – Serengeti National Park

    Wildlife Viewing Time: 6 hours
Activities: Game Drives + Olduvai Gorge (Optional at 36$ Per Person)

After breakfast, we'll head to the Serengeti, a vast area covering 14,763 square kilometers or 5,700 square miles, for some exciting game drives. As the day cools down and the Serengeti sky is painted with red, gold, and orange hues, you might be amazed by the roar of a lion, a giraffe galloping, or the high-pitched giggles of hyenas in a scuffle over a kill. Enjoy game drives until around sunset. We'll have dinner and spend the night at Thorn Tree Camp. Your meal plan for the day includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Start your day with early morning game drives in the Serengeti National Park. Often considered one of the most stunning wildlife sanctuaries globally, the Serengeti is renowned for the 'Great Migration.' Each year, over one million wildebeest and more than two hundred thousand zebras follow the seasonal rains in search of green pastures. Even when this mass migration isn't happening, the Serengeti remains an impressive and spectacular place that never fails to captivate. Enjoy game drives until around sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Thorn Tree Camp. Your meal plan for the day includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

    Distance: 145km, ETA: 3 hours
    Wildlife Viewing Time: 6 hours
    Activities: Game Drives

After an early morning breakfast, we'll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater, with a diameter of 19.2 kilometers, a depth of 610 meters, and covering an area of 304 square kilometers, is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas globally. It's home to some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. The large population of predators, including lions and other carnivores, adds to the allure of this picturesque crater.

Sustained by a year-round water supply and ample food, this stunning oasis provides a haven for both predators and prey to coexist amid grasslands. After engaging in game drives, we'll drive to Bougainvillea Safari Lodge for an overnight stay. The meal plan for the day includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • Day 6 - Lake Manyara National Park – Lake Natron Area

    Distance: 50km, ETA: 1 hour
    Wildlife Viewing Time: 6 hours
    Activities: Game Drives

We'll pick you up from the lodge and head to Lake Manyara National Park. This park features a massive but shallow soda lake situated at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The diverse habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, unique tree-climbing lions found in Manyara, and large flocks of flamingos.

Manyara is a picturesque gem, with a setting praised by Ernest Hemingway as "the loveliest I had seen in Africa." As we journey from the entrance gate, along the roadside, you may spot blue monkeys agilely moving between ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbucks treading warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills creating a cacophony in the high canopy. After the game drives, we'll head to Africa Safari Lake Natron (Safari Comfort Bungalow) for the overnight. The meal plan for the day includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • Day 7 - Lake Natron Area – Arusha

    Distance: 280km, ETA: 5 hours

Embark on a rugged and dusty yet picturesque drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to the remote Maasai land, seldom visited by many. In the morning, take a walk along the Lake Natron Area, dedicating a couple of hours to exploring the shoreline and capturing photographs of the numerous flamingos and other birds that frequent this soda lake. Later in the day, venture to the Engaresero waterfall, navigating through steep gorges that lead to this incredible waterfall, featuring a plunge pool for a refreshing swim. After a full day of discovering this secluded landscape, commence your journey back to your hotel in Arusha or the airport.

Airport Drop Off Included: we advise you depart the day after the tour ends or on the same day in the evening. (Kilimanjaro Airport/ Arusha Airport).
