13 DAY GORILLA AND CHIMPANZEES SAFARI IN UGANDA

Depending on your arrival time, you will be met by our driver guide, introduce himself to you and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Kampala or Entebbe.

Accommodation at Gorilla African guest house

Begin the panoramic drive north-west through the famous Luweero Triangle and, travel to Masindi via Ziwa Rhino with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking. Have lunch and after lunch, drive to Murchison where you will visit the top of the falls as you have a spectacular view of the mighty water falls. Drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

After your breakfast, you will cross the Nile by ferry to the northern bank of the park where your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see elephant, water buck etc and you will hike to the top.

Early morning after your breakfast you will have a long drive to the western part of Uganda to Kibale pass tea plantations and beautiful landscapes with lunch en route. Arrive at your hotel check-in, have dinner and overnight.

Accommodation at Kibale Forest camp

fter early breakfast, transfer to Kanyanchu Tourist Center where tourist activities begin and set out to track chimpanzee in the forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but not a guarantee. After lunch visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary from where you will take on a guided walk around the Swamp which will provide you with the opportunity to see a wide range of flora and fauna. Drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park viewing the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey. Check in at your accommodation facility as you wait for your lunch. After lunch, take on an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga Channel one that joins Lakes Edward and George. The cruise is a wonderful way to see hippo, buffalo, kob and the occasional Nile crocodile after the boat return your hotel by doing evening game drive.

After breakfast you will go for a morning game drive in the northern section of the park where you are most likely to meet grazing Hippos, Elephants, and Lions, spotted Hyenas, bush buck, water buck, stripped jackal, comical warthogs and leopards. Later transfer to Bwindi. Arrive Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening. Dinner and over night.

After breakfast set off to UWA briefing point where you will be briefed about gorillas. You will be grouped in a group of 8 people where you will track Gorillas and tracking takes about 3 to 4 hours depending where the gorillas will be. Later have lunch and after lunch you will go on a community foot safari to explore the life style of the Batwa people. Return for dinner and overnight .

After you breakfast at 9:00am,you will be transferred to lake bunyonyi located in kigezi highlands which makes it ideal for relaxing before and after your gorilla tracking safari. ACTIVITIES AT LAKE BUNYONYI - Boat ride - zip lining - canoeing - bird watching -swimming

Accommodation: Hawks eye guest house

After early breakfast, drive back to Kampala with a visit to Igongo Cultural village to explore and learn the Bahima and Ankole culture. This is the place where the future meets the past. Continue your drive to the Equator crossing with lunch en route before you drive to back to Kampala for overnight

Early this morning after your breakfast, our driver guide will pick you at your place or hotel of residence ready for a drive to the adventure capital Jinja. Jinja lies in the south east of Uganda, 54 miles (87 km) north east of the capital, Kampala. It is located on the shores of Lake Victoria. A visit to Sezibwa falls and Mabira forest en route is very rewarding. Later proceed to Jinja for dinner and overnight

Early morning after your breakfast, our driver guide will pick you from your hotel and transfer you to Jinja for rafting briefing, here you choose to raft in the paddle-powered boats for one of the wildest raft rides on the planet, or opt to be rowed downstream by our professional guides in the safety raft. After lunch you will hit a series of more wild rapids and in the evening drive too your hotel for dinner and overnight .

Early morning you will have your breakfast, explore Jinja with a visit to the source of the Nile and later transfer to Entebbe for your evening flight back home.
