Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is renowned for hosting the world's largest population of mountain gorillas. This ancient forest, believed to have survived the ice age, boasts remarkable biodiversity. Our 3-day journey through this extraordinary conservation area will take you in search of the mountain gorilla, a subspecies of the eastern gorilla known as Gorilla beringei.

While on this adventure, you'll have the chance to encounter not only gorillas but also other fascinating species, including forest elephants, mountain duikers, and a variety of forest birds, some of which are found nowhere else. The park is also home to black and white colobus monkeys and vervet monkeys. On lucky occasions, you might even spot forest elephants or mountain duikers.

Bwindi impenetrable national park boasts the highest population of Mountain gorillas, it is one of the oldest forests in Africa believed to have survived the ice age era it has accumulated a high biodiversity our 3 days to the forest will lead you through the most amazing conservation area in search of the mountain gorilla species a subspecies of the eastern gorilla – gorilla beringei.

There are chances of meeting several other species including forest elephants, mountain duikers and birds of the forest some of which are endemic to the destination other primates present include the black and white colobus monkeys, and vervet monkeys on a lucky day you may have chance to see some other species like forest elephants or even mountain duikers.

  • Day 1 - Arrival and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

    Upon arrival, our guide representative will welcome you from the airport, on this very day we will have to drive to Bwindi hence it is important to choose a morning flight, the ground transfer takes approximately +/-9 hours to drive to arrive at the destination passing through beautiful small towns and villages we will stopover at the Igongo cultural center for lunch, later proceeding to the park arriving in time for dinner and staying overnight at

  • Day 2 - Gorilla trekking

    The forest has an incredible count of species however on this day we will be going to see mountain gorillas, the day sparks off with a morning briefing from the ranger team or even a dance from the local community as our guide helps you register, in groups of 8 you will be grouped into 8 people per gorilla family and a ranger guides you through the forest, en route expect to see a number of tree species and plants crossing through angelic zones trekking the brown-eyed species take 2 or more hours depending on how far the gorilla families have moved an hour is allowed while you interact with the primates and later return to the headquarters or at a particular point you exit the forest our guide will then transfer you to the lodge for dinner and staying overnight

  • Day 3 - Departure

    On this days we will slope down the highland areas of western Uganda returning to Entebbe for your international flight back home as we say goodbye to the country that has been home for some time
