Overview

We are a wildlife sanctuary, rescue and rehabilitation center located in beautiful Quepos, Costa Rica. We rescue over 200 animals every year. People from all over the world from all walks of life join us from a couple of days up to one month of time to join us in the important work we are doing here. Whether you choose to stay with us for a couple of nights or stay for a whole month, volunteers have the chance to really get involved and work with the animals!

Typical daily duties include food preparation and distributing food and water to the animals who reside in the sanctuary, cleaning enclosures, providing enrichment to improve the quality of life of the animals in our care, and foraging for wild foods. You may participate in special projects going on here at Kids Saving the Rainforest, and we also ask that you take on a special project of your own. You will work 6 days a week. If you have a specialized background or experience, let us know and we may be able to find other ways for you to help out! You can also apply for our Internship Program.

To apply, submit an application via our website at https://www.kidssavingtherainforest.org/volunteer.html
