Ecuador is undoubtedly one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet, its ecosystems and different cultures are the perfect setting to volunteer and travel through incredible places in the Andes, Amazon, Coast and Galapagos Islands, carrying out experiential programs that will take you to better understand local realities.
Working as a volunteer in our childcare program on the coast is one of the most beautiful experiences that a person can have, you will be supporting a community nursery run by social entrepreneurs who live near the fishing villages, located a few minutes from the volunteer house. The purpose of the project is to support the strengthening of the early education of children from 1 to 5 years of age, who belong to families with limited economic resources so that they can acquire better skills in the development of their learning, promoting preparing them for school.
Most of the community nurseries located in the coastal zone, as well as in rural areas of the country, generally have resource limitations that prevent them from improving their infrastructure, teaching materials and tools to improve early education techniques, which is why the action of Volunteers are a very important contribution to these care centers since through their collaboration, experience, ideas and commitment they gradually build more effective and personalized work dynamics that directly benefit children.
Every day is a new hope for the children of the coastal towns, as a volunteer you will have to put all your energy and creativity in the daily activities to improve the self-esteem of more than 30 children, develop their confidence, security, autonomy, assisting the educators in every step of the weekly planning they do. Among the main tasks that you will have to carry out as a volunteer is to collaborate in the feeding of the children, teach them hygiene rules and activities that reinforce their psychomotor development. This program gives you an excellent experience since it allows you to combine your volunteer work with activities on the beach, while you sunbathe and enjoy the sea.

REQUIREMENTS:
Abilities One of the most important points to participate in our volunteer programs in Ecuador, is the adaptation to the culture, as a volunteer you must be willing to support whatever is necessary, have dedication, be supportive, more than any type of experience, it is needed come with an open mind and willing to help. Age The age range to participate in our volunteer programs in Ecuador is from 14 to 70 years old, if you are a minor and want to be part of the volunteer team, do not forget to send us the authorization letter from your parents or encourage them to participate. with you in this wonderful experience.
We recommend that before joining one of our volunteer programs in Ecuador, you evaluate your fluency in the language. The ideal for non-Spanish speaking international volunteers is to reach an intermediate level of Spanish, so that they can have better communication and interaction with the members of the work team, coordinators and local people.
