Early morning, you’ll be picked up from the hotel and dropped to Kathmandu’s airport. You’ll get into the helicopter and begin the ride to Lukla.
Please remember that as this is a mountain helicopter tour, weather changes will lead to a delay or even cancellation of the flight. Please be prepared for the delays.
After you get on the helicopter, you’ll start the ride to Lukla. On the helicopter ride to Lukla, you’ll be on the top and be able to see the Kathmandu valley. Look out for the rivers, hills, and many different snow-capped mountains on the way.
The ride from Kathmandu to Lukla will be 45 minutes. There will be a quick stop in Lukla for refueling. Lukla is a small town located in the Solukhumbu district, in the northeastern part of Nepal. It is popular for being the starting point for the Everest Base Camp Trek and the shortest airport runway.
After refueling, the tour will continue again, flying to Kala Patthar- the highest hiking point.

The helicopter flight cost from Kala Patthar to Lukla depends on the private or group joining flight. It costs USD 390 per person if you take the group package. In a group, there will be a maximum of five people. Likewise, if you take a charter flight, it will cost USD 1560. So, based on your budget, you can choose between group joining or private helicopter service.
